Hampden watches are considered to be low production watches compared to
the tens of millions of watches produced by their other American
counterparts such as Elgin, Hamilton, Waltham & others.
their factory to Russia and stopped their American made watches in 1927.
Most of the American made watch companies continued to manufacture
timepieces as late as the 1970's. This is why the all American made
Hampden, Dueber and Dueber-Hampden brands are low production collectible watches.

stem, crown or bow)

powered by its all original,
Factory signed, 16 Size, Model IV, William McKinley Grade, 3/4 plate
solid nickel bridge, seventeen jewel, micrometer regulator,
beautifully damaskeened, gold inlaid, stem wind stem set movement.
All Original MINT
Hampden Watch Co. factory signed single sunk Porcelain
dial with black enameled
1-12 Roman numerals, Hampden logo, sub-second dial trim and minute
track with red enameled 5 minute markers.
This very collectible
timepiece also has its original domed beveled glass crystal.
