The attractive hinged case is heavy gauge 14 Karat yellow gold filled. It is all high polished. This original case was manufactured by the B & B Watch Case Company and is their "Royal 20 Year Warranted" model. The case features the early "wire" lugs and measures 32.80mm in diameter (not counting the stem & crown) by 37.80mm Lug to Lug

This Classic and Collectible WWI Timepiece is powered by an All American made, factory signed, 3/4 nickel plate, straight line damaskeened, 

7 Jewel, Compensated balance, Precision manual wind  movement  

All Original Military single sunk Porcelain dial featuring bold black enameled "shadow" Arabic numbers, factory logo, subsidiary seconds register and outer minute track, with the bold 12 in red enamel. The original hands are blued steel in the pierced skeleton style with luminous inserts.

There is a tiny hairline at the 4-5. However, this close-up picture is magnified 1800% with a high resolution Nikon Macro lens.  This genuine porcelain dial is in outstanding condition considering its age, and being a Military timepiece!!
