Boomertime was extremely fortunate
recently to have found a small "stash" of New Old Stock, Never Worn
antique watches out of a closed jewelry store!! Discovering New Old
Stock un-worn 1930's - 1960's watches are much like discovering New Old
Stock un-driven 1930's - 1960's cars,.. Nearly Impossible!!!
The round mint condition case is highly
polished chrome top, bezel, sides and lugs. The case back is satin
sand marked finish. The case measures 25.80mm in diameter
(not counting stem & crown) by
32.40mm lug to lug.
It is powered by a quality Swiss made mechanical wind-up movement.
Beware of modern battery powered Quartz reproductions, only the ORIGINAL
Walt Disney mechanical wind-up watches are increasing in value, while
the current produced new quartz watches are losing their value.
The dial is in MINT
condition and features a multi-colored enameled Minnie Mouse with
fully animated hands. This Classic timepiece was Built and
distributed by Bradley Watch Company, and licensed & copyrighted
through Walt Disney Productions.
There were FAR fewer Minnie Mouse watches produced than Mickey
Mouse watches. New Old Stock vintage models that have never been worn are "SUPER"
scarce!
