Hale E. Dougherty an Orange County Ca. physician was politically active & had an active sense of humor. His entrepreneurial spirit inspired him and his wife to market a Spiro Agnew wristwatch. This watch only started out as a joke, but unexpectedly took the nation by storm in the early 1970's selling only a few thousand.

All high polished Gold Plated top, sides, bezel, and Extended "T-Bar" or "Center" lugs. The factory hallmarked case back is two-tone (high polished & satin) chrome. Case measures 33.85mm in diameter (not counting the stem & crown) by 38.15mm lug to lug

MINT Condition original multicolored enameled dial with the caricature of Spiro Agnew in red white & blue. The hands are fully animated, and both hands are flashing the "peace sign".

This watch is in "outstanding" New Old Stock Never Worn condition! It comes with its original 1970's Red & Blue pull-through strap as well as a New dark red Crocodile grain strap
