This Smokey the Bear timepiece was built & manufactured by Bradley, Division of Elgin National Watch Company. It was Officially Licensed by The Forest Service (Division of United States Department of Agriculture)  

The companion piece is a Smokey the Bear Match Holder. On the top of his hat is the name "Smokey", and on the brim of his hat are the words "Prevent Forest Fires"
