This
particular Accutron has the famous worlds first jeweled tuning-fork movement.
This is the 13 Jewel Bulova Accutron caliber / grade 230.
This one is 4 x factory
signed and hallmarked. It is All American made, & all original.
"ALL" Accutron's are getting scarce, but the rare ladies watch models are almost impossible to find !!
The
fancy screw down water resistant case & lugs
are fabricated from heavy gauge 18 Karat Gold Electroplate. The case back
is heavy gauge 10 Karat Rolled Gold. The case measures 24.30mm wide
(not counting the stem & crown) by 30.25mm
Lug to Lug.
The super
condition dial is also something rare & unusual using dark red or
burgundy enamel trim for The Bulova logo, the Accutron logo, the date
window trim, the sweep second hand and all of the raised hour markers.
This Accutron
is humming away, keeping great time & running strong! It is also
extremely rare for antique watches to still have their original inner &
outer boxes & paperwork!!
